Very little time

Recently, as you may have seen, I haven’t posted anything. That’s because I’m still in school and the Christmas holiday starts in two weeks and I have to take all the final exams. As I am in a science class, I have to take five important tests: romanian ( my native language ), maths, english, biology and chemistry, which leads to my lack of spare time to write anything down for my blog.

Because I’ve been studying more in the past couple of weeks, I’ve become quite stressed and nervous, especially since I still have to take my biology and chemistry tests, which seem to be the hardest for me. This morning I passed out, something that has never happened to me before. Both me and my parents got scared and decided that I should take a day off school to wind down.Unraveling-the-Homework-Myth

But I still have one question: How can you relax during the exams period?

I started watching vlogmas on youtube and seeing some of my favourite vloggers helped me, but I am still under the impression that I lose so much time watching the vlogs, when I should learn instead. I’ve watched a Christmas movie the other night with my sister but I haven’t got round to finishing it because I was too tired to watch it all at once.

Also, this chaos with Christmas decorations, buying presents or simply family gatherings has put me off. Not getting enough sleep is also an important factor to my state of health and also skipping meals (as my mother always tells me to stop doing).


I would really apreciate if you could give me some advice in the comments. I’m in a quandary about what to do. Also, you could let me know if this happened to you and how you got past it.


Personally I’ve always been an avid reader. Ever since I learnt how to read from the ,,Scooby-Doo” comic books, I fell head over heels in love with it. I think it is the best possible way to spend your leisure time especially during the cold season, when you can’t really do many things outside (I can’t stand cold weather).

For the last couple of days I’ve been reading ,,Girl online”, written by blogger and youtuber Zoe Sugg. Because I have a four-day break from school I decided to give it a go and I realised I love it. The story describes Penny’s Christmas and New Year’s holiday, during which she falls in love with Noah. I won’t say anything more for those who want to read the book 🙂 . 

In some way it kind of reminds me of my summer holiday, when I kissed a guy whom I’ve just met on the beach, after spending only an evening with him (so did Penny in the book). I think the story is beautifully written and definetely came up to my expectations. Seeing that the main character is a blogger too inspired me to keep on writing, to express my feelings and ideas, because someone out there might be interested in what I have to say or may have the same opinion as me.  girlonline

   I generally prefer to read fantasy books with vampires, warewolves, witches etc but I loved the story and the plot of this book from the first pages.

   I would really like to know what your favourite books are. What do you generally prefer to read? Would you rather read or do something else in your spare time?

No friends

   I’m sure that whatever age you are, you have found yourself alone, with no one to support you, at least once in your life. But don’t worry. It is usually something normal that everybody goes through; things will eventually get better in time!

    The most problematic period is highschool, when most teens succumb to peer pressure. In my opinion, school is the place where you find out who your real friends are. But when you do find yourself in the position of the lonely one, what can you do? One of the most important things to do is to stay calm, don’t become despressed overnight just because your ,,so called” bff gave up on you. You have to keep your head up and not let anyone put you down. No matter how much you want a friendship to last, you must remember that it is not a thing that can be forced so don’t become too clingy.


   Moreover, you have to learn to get over the loss of your friends and start looking for others. You shouldn’t have hatred towards those who left you, since you don’t really know if they will ever come back to apologise. Maybe after a short period of time you will become friends again. Try making small talk to other colleagues or classmates, search for common interests such as sports, movies or music. You might be surprised by what you’ll find.

    In conclusion, having no friends sucks, I know, but it may be a blessing in disguise. You never know what other people are there who want to become close to you.


Beauty pressure

    Nowadays there is quite a big peer pressure, especially among teenage girls. Supermodels are becoming thinner and thinner and therefore more teens starve themselves in order to be seen as ,,beautiful”. Moreover, while some have a fast metabolism and can easily keep in shape, others are not so lucky and lose weight a little bit harder. In their case, they might become unhappy, ashamed with their bodies or maybe even depressed. 


     Personally, I have to admit that I would like to loose a little weight but I don’t really fancy working out or doing any exercise. I am 1.67m/5,6 ft and 50 kg/110lb and I do 3 hours of street dancing a week, which I think makes me tonify my muscles. I’ve never been told that I am too fat or even plump, but I’ve always been obsessed with loosing some weight. Seeing those models out there who have flat stomaches makes me want to be thinner. 

    Despite all of these, in my opinion, no one should reach the stage of depression or even unhappines just because of their bodies. Everybody is beautiful in their own way and I’m sure nothing can stand in the way of one’s welfare. If you are healthy, everything comes naturally, particularly when you have your family and friends supporting you.


Bieber Fever

12270334_702897186478376_1218193533_n   We all know that Justin Bieber has recently brought out a new album, after three years during which he hasn’t really been so active regarding the music industry. ,,Purpose” features some collaborations with widely known artists such as Halsey, Big Sean,Skrillex or Travis Scott. But why is there so much hate between the two groups of people that have formed in the past years-the Beliebers and the ,,haters”?

    Personally, I’ve had times when I only listened to his music, and times when I even forgot about his existence. The online fights about Bieber are beginning to grow. While some people take his side, the others tend to criticise his way of life, his voice, his appearance etc. But we forget one thing: nobody’s perfect and above all, nobody should bitch about someone if they don’t really know that person’s behaviour.

    In my opinion, this way of life-only seeing the bad side of people-should be changed. We should all try to be a little more patient with each other and to be willing to give everybody a chance. We could be surprised of what we might find.

    I’ve decided to start a blog in order to put my thoughts and ideas into order. I’ve started multiple journals, but writing everyday just isn’t for me and so I thought I should give blogging a go. I’m a usual teenager, living with my family, arguing with my little sister daily 🙂 (we also laugh and joke often,don’t worry). I love dancing, listening to music,watching TV series (lots of them) and reading. I’m in highschool so I could say I have a lot of problems, which may seem important today and tommorow I could laugh at them. I still don’t have any idea what I want to be in the future or what college I want to follow. I have many friends who I talk to and spend time with, but I have only one person who I know I can well and truly trust.

     I hope that I’ll be able to find other teens that share my interests, my dreams and maybe even my problems. I also want to help people find an answer to their questions or their difficulties.
